UF/IFAS Extension Calving Difficulties Workshop
A unique opportunity to learn about dealing with calving difficulties 
 
The UF/IFAS “Dystocia (difficult birth) Simulator” allows participants to gain hands-on experience in recognizing calving problems, correcting issues and knowing when to call the veterinarian.
 
“Calving difficulties can cause devastating losses to cattle owners,” said UF/IFAS Multi-County Livestock Agent Laura Bennett.  “Knowing the different ways calves can present themselves during the birth process can help solve problems as they occur.”
