Tools to Quit: Tobacco Cessation Program
Do you want to quit smoking or have you tried and not had great success? Giving up cigarettes is one of the best things you can do for your health. While the journey isn't easy, a representative from Gulfcoast North AHEC will get you started. She'll talk about the powerful, addictive qualities in nicotine and how these have kept you hooked. You'll prepare a plan for quitting, set a quit date and get great encouragement and suggestions on how to overcome the urge to pick up a cigarette while you're on your journey to quitting.
