Affordable Flying Expo

Affordable Flying Expo 2026 brings an exciting weekend of aircraft, technology, education and hands-on discovery to the SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo Campus in Lakeland, November 13–15. Designed for aviation enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike, the three-day event offers visitors an opportunity to see modern personal aircraft up close, watch flying demonstrations, meet aircraft designers, pilots and industry professionals, and learn how advances in technology are making personal aviation more accessible. The program will include aircraft and equipment exhibits, educational forums, practical workshops and discussions about the changing future of recreational flying. You do not have to be a pilot to enjoy the Expo. Families, students, aspiring aviators, homebuilders and anyone interested in airplanes, engineering or aviation careers are welcome. It is an especially good opportunity for young people to meet members of the aviation community and discover the many ways they can become involved. Adult admission is $15 for one day or $35 for the full three-day event. Discounted admission is available to members of qualifying aviation associations. Admission for ages 12–17 is $5 for one day or $10 for the full Expo, and children under 12 are admitted free. Parking is free, and every Expo ticket includes admission to the Florida Air Museum. Affordable Flying Expo 2026 takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday through Sunday, November 13–15, at 4075 James C. Ray Drive in Lakeland.
